This policy paper discusses the evolution of global climate diplomacy in 1972-2017 and its modern features. It includes overview of the negotiating process at UNFCCC conferences, difficulties faced to shape a single global climate change policy at international level. The paper also covers main climate change international instruments, such as UNFCCC, Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement, as well as EU strategy on climate diplomacy. The paper also covers the development of climate change policy in Ukraine and relevant legal framework. Available in Ukrainian only.
