Belarus NPP is subject to complaint in Geneva

 

Today European ECO Forum filed a complaint in Geneva in relation to nuclear power plant construction in Belarus.

 

The complaint alleges that Belarus citizens get no information and have no possibility to express their opinion about construction of the nuclear power plant in the country.

 

The complaint was submitted to the Compliance Committee of the Aarhus Convention (Geneva) on behalf of the European ECO Forum Legal Focal Points (a coalition of environmental citizens organizations in Europe).
